These days it seems that not everybody wants to visit a casino and play the most technical or the hardest game that is available. They may not wish to play the extremely easy slot games either. Every poker player has internal battles at some point in their game life. It’s simply a matter of time, even for the professional player. However, most professional players have learned over time is that it is going to happen and because they are professional layers they have more leeway than the rookie. Not being able to have these battles with themselves at that table is what takes more beginners out of the game than anything else. So, what is a player to do.

If you are concerned about your game play and your are afraid you are over analyzing your hands and your options, go back to the tables and watch the pros. You have some who are very vocal and talk to themselves while they are playing and others who are very contemplative and quiet. If you watch them play you will see how they handle themselves and you will be able to see how long they contemplate their hands. While it is important that the player’s hands are analyzed, you won’t to watch how they don’t over analyze the hand but they simply take their time and make a good decision.

When you over analyze your poker game you take the risk of making a bad decision and you could wind up with a hand that you might have won but that you lost due to being over analytical. While it is very important that you play smart, you don’t want to get scared and back off of an excellent hand and if you spend too much time, you may over think your hand. Take a cue from the pros and once you make up your mind stick with it or you could lose your shirt.
